It's been too long since I posted here and thanks to the Corona virus, it's a great time to take this blog out of mothballs for a bit. Today, we will check out a few historical games in the NBA on St. Patrick's Day. Let's have some fun.
Today in:
1954 - The Syracuse Nationals (now Philadelphia 76ers) edged the Boston Celtics 96-95 in their first game of the NBA Playoffs. Hall of Famer Bob Cousy led all scorers with 32 points for the Celtics. Hall of Famer Dolph Schayes led Syracuse with 20. Other Hall of Famers in this game were Earl Lloyd for Syracuse, and Ed Macauley, Bill Sharman, Chuck Cooper, and Don Barksdale for Boston. The Nationals would go on to sweep the Celtics 4-0 in the round-robin competition and go on to lose to the Minneapolis Lakers in the NBA Finals.
1962 - NBA Hall of Famer Oscar Robertson scored 33 points and led the Cincinnati Royals to a decisive victory over the Detroit Pistons 129-107. Don Ohl and Gene Shue each scored 18 points in for the Pistons while Bob Boozer scored 26 for Cincy. Detroit finished the season in 3rd place in the Western Division with a 37-43 record while the Royals finished in 2nd place in the Western Division with a 43-37 record. Both teams made the playoffs and faced each other in the Western Semi-finals. The Pistons won the series 3-1 and went on to lose to the Los Angeles Lakers in the Western Division Finals 4-2.
1975 - In an ABA game on this day, the New York Nets beat the Indiana Pacers 124-116. Hall of Famer George McGinnis led all scorers with 34 for the Pacers while Larry Kenon led the Nets in scoring with 32 points. Hall of Famer Dr. J, Julius Erving scored 24 for the Nets. Indiana went on to finish in 3rd place in the ABA Western Division with a 45-39 record and went on to play in the ABA Finals. They lost to the Kentucky Colonels 4-1. New York finished at 58-26, 2nd in the ABA Eastern Division and lost in the Semi-Finals round to the Spirits of St. Louis 4-1. Neither the Spirits of St. Louis nor the 1974-75 ABA Champion Kentucky Colonels survived the merger with the NBA in 1976.
1986 - Hall of Famers Isiah Thomas and Joe Dumars led the Detroit Pistons into the Salt Palace Arena against Hall of Famers Adrian Dantley and Karl Malone of the Utah Jazz. In a nail-biter, the Jazz squeaked past the Pistons 107-106. Thomas led all scorers with 32 points. Bill Laimbeer had 26. Dantley led the Jazz with 35 points. A side note, Hall of Famer, John Stockton, played as a reserve for Utah. It was his second season in the NBA. The Jazz improved to 34-35 and the Pistons fell to 40-29. Each team made the playoffs with Detroit losing in the first round to the Atlanta Hawks 3-1 and Utah also losing in the first round to the Dallas Mavericks 3-1.
1993 - In another nail-biter, Hall of Famer, The Admiral, David Robinson led the San Antonio Spurs over Hall of Famer, James Worthy, and the Los Angeles Lakers 101-100. Robinson led all scorers with 29 and Hall of Famer, Vlade Divac, led the Lakers with 23. The Lakers fell to 33-29 and the Spurs improved to 39-22. Both teams made the playoffs and both were eliminated by the Phoenix Suns in succeeding rounds. The Lakers were eliminated 3-2 in the first round and the Spurs were eliminated in the SemipFinals 4-2.
2007 -The Golden State Warriors invaded the Key Arena to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat against the Seattle SuperSonics (now Oklahoma City Thunder), 99-98. Hall of Famer Ray Allen of the Supersonics led all scorers with 25. Jason Richardson led the Warriors with 23. Golden State improved to 32-36 and Seattle fell to 25-40. The SuperSonics finished the season at 31-51 and missed the playoffs. Golden State finished at 42-40 and made the playoffs and lost to the Jazz in the Western Semi-Finals 4-1.
2013 - The Minnesota Timberwolves hosted the New Orleans Hornets (now Pelicans) and held on to win 97-95. Derrick Williams led all scorers with 28 for the Timberwolves. Greivis Vasquez led New Orleans with 24. Minnesota improved to 23-41 and New Orleans fell to 22-45. Neither team made the playoffs that season.

Have a great St. Patrick's Day!!!

Catching Up
Hope your summer is going well. You'd figure with school being out, there would be more time to write a blog entry or two, but that's not the case. Here are some comments.
- Congrats to the 10-72 Philadelphia 76ers. They are the 2016 NBA Kings of the Cellar and missed tying their NBA record of futility from 1973 by one game.
- Speaking of the 76ers, they're set to draft LSU's Ben Simmons with the first pick in the NBA Draft. Will picking Simmons add to the streak of good first picks?
- Congrats to the NBA Champion Cleveland Cavaliers. It's a major accomplishment to win a championship and an even bigger one to win one over a Golden State Warrior team that won 73 games.
- The 23-48 Minnesota Twins are today's MLB Kings of the Cellar. My 24-47 Atlanta Braves are a game back, because the Twins are on a 3 game winning streak.
- Today's honorable mention goes to the 31-39 Tampa Bay Devil Rays, who are on a 7 game losing streak. They edged the 43-30 Washington Nationals for the mention, who are on a 5 game losing streak.
- Now on to some writing news: I added a prologue to The Curse. It fits with how the story works and improves the way it starts.
- My final beta reader is almost done with Second Chance. I hope to have it published this summer.
- Once Second Chance is done, the next book to be published has the working title Justice. According to my ideal reader, this is the best story I've written so far. This is the first book in a series. I already started a sequel and even set up a story that could take place just before the sequel. This pre-sequel story takes place in a fictional town in Louisiana.
- Speaking of stories started but not finished, there are at least two. My November 2014 NaNoWriMo effort, Return To Origin, is still unfinished. That's what I've been working on this month. This is the first story I've written that has a cover completed before the first draft. The other first draft started but not finished is the sequel to The Curse.
- Finally and most importantly, thank you all for your support and thanks to those who bought my books!! You are greatly appreciated!!!
Have a great day!!!

A Few Comments and a Classic Game
Almost two months have passed since my last post and I apologize for that. I teach underprivileged children and the prep work and grading are far more time consuming than anticipated. However, there are times, such as today, when I have some time to write or post something, so here are some quick comments:
Enjoy the game and have a great Easter weekend!!!
- I'm already regretting not filling out my brackets for the NCAA Tournament, even though none of them would have been perfect. This is one of the better tournaments.
- The 9-63 Philadelphia 76ers are the NBA Kings of the Cellar and have all but locked the door to the beer. If they lose out, the 76ers will tie their own record of futility at 9-73.
- This year will be the 35th anniversary of the Louisiana Southernaires Drum and Bugle Corps' winning the 1981 Drum Corps International Class A Championship. The Southernaires are the only drum and bugle corps from Louisiana to have ever won a Drum Corps International World Championship at any level.
- Sooner or later, I'll publish my 5th book, Second Chance. The story has no relation to the TV series. Besides, I came up with the title first in 2010. I'm waiting on my last beta reader to finish. The story is about a middle-aged man who lives in the past and would give anything if he could go back to his youth and fix the biggest mistake of his life. He gets his second chance, but will he succeed?
- I've been watching (off and on) the NFL Network's Path to the Draft. I used to be more into this series, but since the NFL Draft is one big crapshoot anyway, none of the prognostication matters. It's pure entertainment.
- Speaking of football, I posted a YouTube video of an old New Orleans Saints game from 1977 on Facebook a while back, but when I talked to people about it, they said it never showed in their news feeds. I wanted to show younger people how good of a quarterback Archie Manning was, that he was better than both of his sons (Peyton and Eli have admitted this). In this game against the Dirty Birds, Archie was coming off an ankle injury that had not yet healed (which affected his speed) and he still shined. More on this in a bit.
- Back to March Madness. Kansas and Villanova have punched their tickets to the Final Four. Congrats to both teams. I'll predict that North Carolina and Wisconsin will make it in. Then the top two will be Kansas and North Carolina, with Kansas winning it all. Since it's one big crapshoot at this point anyway, let's see what happens.
Enjoy the game and have a great Easter weekend!!!

Rickshaw 2 Day Promo and Historic NBA Games On This Day
Not much going on about my ebooks since Wednesday, except that today and tomorrow, my ebook Rickshaw, New Mexico is free for the Kindle. So let's have some fun.
Today in 2005, at the end of the 3rd quarter, the 38-23 Detroit Pistons led the 20-42 Utah Jazz 58-50. Then the bottom fell out for both teams. Utah and Detroit went on a quarter long scoring drought. In fact, for the fist 5:49, no one scored at all, missing a combined total of 17 shots. Utah scored 12 points, but it wasn't enough to beat the Pistons, who scored only 6 points the entire quarter. Andrei Kirilenko led all scorers with 27 points. Rip Hamilton led the Pistons with 15.
Today in 1995, the 39-23 Charlotte Hornets took an 87-72 lead over the 17-44 Washington Bullets (now Wizards) into the 4th quarter and...collapsed. Washington scored 34 in the 4th and beat the Hornets 106-103. Alonzo Mourning led all scorers with 32. Juwan Howard led the Bullets in scoring with 18 points.
Today in 1955, after trailing the 43-29 Syracuse Nationals 60-56 at the beginning of the 4th quarter, the Milwaukee Hawks went on to edge the Nationals 77-76. Bob Petit led all scorers with 17. Paul Seymour and Dolph Schayes led Syracuse with 15. The Nationals went on to win the NBA Championship.
So who were the Syracuse Nationals? They started in the 1949-50 season and in the fall of 1963, they moved and became the team known today as the Philadelphia 76ers.
Again, my ebook Rickshaw, New Mexico is free for the Kindle.today and tomorrow.
George Foster, a down and out Las Vegas private investigator in 2011, took a routine late night stakeout assignment that changed his life forever. Things went terribly wrong when an affair turned into a double murder, with George as the number one suspect.
Once at home, George got drunk, passed out, and woke up in a jail cell...
...in 1886.
Somehow, George went from present day Las Vegas, Nevada to a one-street town named Rickshaw in the New Mexico Territory, a place with problems of its own. With no idea how he got there, George must adapt, survive, and find his way home.

Updates and Some Old NBA Trivia
Happy Hump Day! It's foggy and rainy in the Crescent City, and I hope your day is a good one.
Yes, we're still working on The Curse. Now that the big issues have been resolved, we're focusing on the smaller ones. The story flows so much better now.
I started to work on the second draft of Justice. This will be the first volume of a series. One of the disadvantages of being a pantser and doing Camp NaNoWriMo is remembering what you wrote before. Early in the draft, I did a quick bio of a character and did it again near the end of the book. The easy thing to do would have been to take it out. Instead, I kept it in and had the main character act like a jerk. I may tweak the scene in the next edit. There was a lot of adding in, because of what I inadvertently omitted in the first draft. That and I messed up the timeline by a day, but that's been fixed. It's shaping up to be a good story.
Also, Rickshaw, New Mexico will be free for the Kindle this Friday and Saturday. I'll post the announcements on my Twitter and Google+ pages (feel free to click the links and follow), since Facebook changed the way posts are seen. That's another rant for another day. Now for some sports trivia!
The 12-51 New York Knicks are today's Kings of the Cellar. They're losers of 5 straight games and 2-13 since February 3. The 14-49 Philadelphia 76ers are two games back, with January's Kings of the Cellar, the 14-48 Minnesota Timberwolves a half game behind Philly.
Today's honorable mention goes to the 23-40 Detroit Pistons. They're losers of their last seven and 2-8 in their last ten games. A special honorable mention goes to my New Orleans Pelicans, not because of poor play, but because they're 36-29 and last in the Southwest Division. Makes me wish they were back in the Eastern Conference. They would have been currently 6th in the rankings. They're 9th and battling the 36-28 Oklahoma City Thunder for the 8th spot now.
Today in 1998, the 42-20 San Antonio Spurs edged the 33-30 New Jersey Nets 79-78. The Spurs' David Robinson and the Nets' Kendall Gill led all scorers with 19 points.
Today in 1988, the 38-21 Portland Trailblazers defeated the 35-24 Houston Rockets 112-109. Portland's Clyde "The Glide" Drexler led all scorers with 33 points. Hakeem Alajuwon led Houston with 28.
Today in 1978, the 23-41 Buffalo Braves, while trailing 89-81 in the 4th quarter, mounted a furious comeback, scoring 36 points, but it was not enough. The Braves lost the the 31-35 Cleveland Cavaliers 118-117. Buffalo's Swen Nater led all scorers with 30. The next season, Buffalo moved its franchise to the West Coast and became the San Diego Clippers and then the Los Angeles Clippers.
Here's one for the Knicks. Today in 1948, the 25-20 New York Knicks lost to the 27-16 St. Louis Bombers 82-73. New York's Bud Palmer led all scorers with 25 points.
So who were the St. Louis Bombers? They were a BAA and NBA team who played from 1946-50, with a collective record of 122-115. They were actually a good team in the BAA, making the playoffs all three years. In the NBA, their final year (1949-50 season), the Bombers went 26-42, their only losing season, and folded.
Here in the Who Dat Nation, there's an uproar over the Jimmy Graham trade. Half the fans love it and half the fans hate it. I'm okay with the trade. Since he got shut down by Aqib Talib and twice by his new team, the Seattle Seahawks, along with his injuries, Graham hasn't been the same player. Last season, he dropped key passes, alligator-armed others, and there was that fumble against Atlanta that was really a touchdown. Sorry, the ball did cross the plane. He did not earn that huge contract he signed before the season started. With that said, the Seahawks are getting a great receiver, as long as Graham can stay healthy. He will be missed here.
Speaking of remaining healthy, Max Unger can stabilize a porous offensive line that made Drew Brees learn what Archie Manning felt like when he played for the black & gold. Unger can also help open holes for Ingram and company, and help give Brees more time in the pocket.
Until next time...
Have a great day!!!

NBA & MLB Trivia, and Rickshaw, New Mexico
Wow! Three posts in a week. It's been a while. Camp NaNoWriMo is less than three weeks away and I'm still undecided about which story to write. A couple of nights ago, I wrote a second scene, this one dealing with the fallout from Rickshaw, New Mexico. More on Rickshaw in a bit. If this continues, Return To Origin may once again, go to the back burner.
Now what's going on with Rickshaw, New Mexico? From today until June 17, Rickshaw will be free for the Kindle. The link will be posted after the trivia. Speaking of...
Here's some NBA trivia...
Today in 1993, the Phoenix Suns beat the Chicago Bulls in triple overtime, 129-121. Michael Jordan led all scorers with 44 points. Dan Majerle led the Suns with 28. The Suns improved to 1-2 in the series, but the Bulls went on to win the NBA Championship 4-2.
Today in 1997, the Chicago Bulls defeated the Utah Jazz 90-86. Michael Jordan led all scorers with 39 and Karl Malone led the Jazz with 21. With this win, Chicago won the NBA Championship 4-2.
Today in 2001, the Los Angeles Lakers beat the Philadelphia 76ers 100-86. Allen Iverson led all scorers with 35 points. Shaquille O'Neal led the Lakers with 34. Los Angeles improves to 3-1 in the series and would win the NBA Championship 4-1.
And for some MLB trivia...
Today in 1975, the Big Red Machine got into a slugfest with the Chicago Cubs. By the seventh inning, the Cubs led the Cincinnati Reds 8-6, but the bottom fell out in the eighth. The Reds went on a 12-3 run and won the game 18-11. Johhny Bench and George Foster each hit a homerun for the Reds and Jerry Morales hit a homerun for the Cubs.
Today in 1988, the St. Louis Cardinals and New York Mets took a 1-1 game into 12 innings. In the bottom of the 12th, Lee Mazzilli hit an RBI single to win the game 2-1. Darryl Strawberry hit a solo homer to get the Mets on the board. Bob Horner hit an RBI single to account for the Cardinals' score.
Today in 2006, a solo homerun by Robinson Cano was all the New York Yankees needed to defeat the Cleveland Indians 1-0. In a respectable effort, LP Paul Byrd struck out six batters.

Last Place Update - March 11
Welcome to this week's Last Place Update. And the push has begun...
The 13-50 Charlotte Bobcats have made a move to defend their title as Kings of the Cellar by increasing their lead over the improving 18-46 Orlando Magic by 4.5 games and by 7.5 games over the 20-41 Washington Wizards. Since the last update, Charlotte has had three straight 0-fer weeks by going 0-3. The Bobcats have lost ten straight and are 4-20 since January 19. All of their last ten losses were by more than ten points. The Magic has a respectable week, going 2-2, as did the Wizards.
This week's honorable mention goes to the 23-39 Philadelphia 76ers. They are playing like their 1973 counterparts by going 1-9 in their last ten games and 2-13 since February 6. They lost their last four games by at least eight points. The 76ers have a homestand this week. They host the Brooklyn Nets tonight, the Miami Heat on Wednesday, and the Indiana Pacers on Saturday. This has all the makings of an 0-fer week, but Philadelphia should get a win and maybe even possibly pulling an upset on the Heat. If they play well, the 76ers should go 1-2.
Next Losses...
Charlotte starts the week at home by hosting the Boston Celtics on Tuesday. They finish the week on the road by going to Toronto on Wednesday to play the Raptors and to Boston for a rematch against the Celtics. Can you say 13 game losing streak?
Orlando hosts the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday and finish the week on the road. They travel to Oklahoma City on Friday to play the Thunder and to Milwaukee on Sunday to play the Bucks. They Magic should win one of these games and could pull off an upset and win two.
Washington starts the week on the road by going to Cleveland to play the Cavaliers on Tuesday. This game could take the once Kings of the Cellar leading Wizards off the Update's radar and Cleveland back on it. The end the week at home by hosting the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday, the New Orleans Hornets on Friday, and the Phoenix Suns on Saturday. The Wizards should win at least one game, but will likely go 2-2 again.
Other Stuff...
The Weber State Lady Wildcats completed their season 0-fer by going 0-29. Maybe next year.
Grambling State also pulled off their season long 0-fer by going 0-27. They face Alabama A&M in the SWAC Tournament this week. They should end their season at one and done.
On March 12, 1987, my University of New Orleans Privateers won their only NCAA Tournament game against the BYU Cougars 83-79. Two days later, the Alabama Crimson Tide made 73 percent of their shots and spanked my Bucs 101-76. UNO finished the 1987 season at 26-4. UNO guard Ledell Eackles and forward Ronnie Grandison went on to play in the NBA.
With the NCAA Tournament on the horizon, we are entering the best part of the college basketball season. So here's a little all-time season trivia: The Duke Blue Devils all-time record is 1998-838. Coach Mike Krzyzewski is 881-236 and has more wins than the next four best Duke coaches combined. Duke is 79-24 in the NCAA Tournament on Coach K's watch and he has more postseason wins and national championships than all of his predecessors combined.
Have a great day!!!

Last Place Update
Welcome to the last installment of the Last Place Update for the 2012 NBA season. Well, they did it! After clinching the 2012 Kings of the Cellar title, they tied the 1973 Philadelphia 76ers for the worst all time record after 66 games at 7-59. However, the Sixers still hold the all-time record for futility at 9-73, so maybe this shortened season is a blessing for Charlotte. Now after going 0-23, it would be ironic that Charlotte got the 14th pick in the draft lottery.
The 20-46 Washington Wizards are this year's bridesmaids, with the 21-45 New Orleans Hornets and Cleveland Cavaliers each a game behind. The Wizards finished the season with a 6 game winning streak and the Hornets went 8-5 in their last 13 games. Unlike the Bobcats and Cavaliers, it appears the Hornets and Wizards may be on their way to not being mentioned in the 2013 Last Place Updates.
This week's honorable mention goes to the Houston Rockets and the Cleveland Cavaliers. The once playoff bound Rockets had a late season collapse and fell from contention by losing to teams they should have beaten, including the Hornets. After going 8-3, Houston went 3-7 in the last 10 games of the season, getting eliminated from the playoffs. The Cavs had a collapse of their own, going 5-22 since March 13.
Next Losses
That will have to wait until next season. Until then...

Last Place Update
Welcome to this week's Last Place Update. The 7-56 Charlotte Bobcats had an 0-fer week and have clinched the title of 2012 NBA Kings of the Cellar. They also have three more chances to get two wins before the season ends. They need to win all three games to beat the 1973 Philadelphia 76ers win total of 9. Obviously, due to the lockout shortened season, the Bobcats were no real threat to Philly's record of futility and the Update did forget that little fact up to now. I regret the error. At this point in the '73 season, the Sixers were 5-58, having just won its first game in over a month. After 66 games, the Sixers were 7-59. If Charlotte loses out, they will tie that record of futility. Hence, the Bobcats need 3 wins to beat the '73 Sixers overall win total and 1 win to beat their 66 game win total.
The 17-46 Washington Wizards trail the Bobcats by 10 games. The Wizards and the 20-44 New Orleans Hornets have been doing some winning as of late. The Wizards are 5-5 in their last 10 games and have won 3 straight. The Hornets are 6- 4 in their last 10 games and are 5-2 in their last 7 games. The 21-43 Sacramento Kings are just off the radar, but could overtake the Hornets this week.
This week's honorable mention goes, yet again, the the defending Kings of the Cellar champion Minnesota Timberwolves. They are 1-9 in their last 10 games and have gone 5-20 since March 9. They ended their losing streak against Detroit. They have one game left and it's at home against Denver.
Next Losses
Again, Charlotte had an 0-fer since the last update. In this final week of the regular season, they travel to Washington DC to take on the Wizards tonight and then go south to Orlando to take on the Magic on Tuesday. They finish their season on Wednesday at home against the New York Knicks. If they play NBA level basketball, Charlotte could pull off wins against the Wizards and the Magic. However, they'll probably have another 0-fer and tie the '73 Sixers for worst record after 66 games.
Washington went 3-0 since the last update. Way to go Wizards! They'll try to extend their winning streak against the Bobcats at home tonight. On Wednesday, they travel to Cleveland to play the Cavaliers. They finish their season at home against the Miami Heat. The Wizards should win one, if not two games.
The Hornets went 2-2 since the last update. This week, they finish the season on the road. They go to Golden State to play the Warriors on Tuesday and their season ends in Houston when they face the Rockets on Thursday. This one's a tough call. New Orleans could go 2-0, 1-1 or 0-2. They should go 1-1.
Other Thoughts
News has come out the General Manager Mickey Loomis of the New Orleans Saints could eavesdrop on opposing coaches and has been doing this for three years. If this is true, this would dwarf Spygate. If Loomis did listen in, a question comes to mind. Did Sean Payton know? If he did, how much did he know? U.S. Attorney Jim Letten is investigating this matter and he's a straight shooter. If there's dirt, he'll find it and prosecute. If there's no dirt, then Loomis will be cleared, at least of criminal charges. Definitely a sad day for the Who Dat Nation.
Congrats to Phil Humber of the Chicago White Sox for pitching a perfect game. At least it wasn't against the Braves. The New York Mets have not had a no-hitter in 8,057 games (including postseason) and counting.
If there was a Last Place Update for MLB this week, the 3-12 Kansas City Royals would lead the Chicago Cubs by a half a game and the San Diego Padres by a game. Baseball's Last Place Updates are coming soon.
Have a great week!!

Last Place Update
March 15, 2012 - Welcome to the first Last Place Update for the 2012 NBA season. The 6-35 Charlotte Bobcats lead my 10-33 New Orleans Hornets by 3 games for NBA's Kings of the Cellar, even after beating the Hornets earlier in the week. Although it's unlikely, the Bobcats are one of two teams still in the running to match or break the 1973 Philadelphia 76ers all-time record of futility of 9-73.
The Hornets are in kind of a statistical tie with the other team in the running to match the 1973 '76ers, the 9-32 Washington Wizards. Again, unless one of these teams simply collapses, there is no way Washington and Charlotte won't get their tenth win, so Philly's record is safe for another season.
This week's honorable mention goes to the 24-20 NBA defending champion Dallas Mavericks. Although they are currently have the 8th seed, they are 3-7 in their last ten games and 4-11 in their last fifteen games.
Next Losses
Other Thoughts
My NCAA Tournament brackets are done. Hopefully they'll fare better than in past years.
Why haven't the New Orleans Saints signed Drew Brees? This is a no-brainer.
Although owner Bud Adams of the Tennessee Titans offered Peyton Manning a contract for life, the Denver Broncos are probably a better fit for his style of play. If he does sign with Tennessee, at least he'll have decent run support with Chris Johnson.
Hopefully this is the beginning of more entries. Baseball and drum corps seasons are around the corner, so things should pick up.
Time to get back to work on the novel...

- Charlotte plays the aforementioned Mavericks tonight in Dallas. Then they're at home against the Toronto Raptors on Saturday and the 76ers on Monday.
- New Orleans hosts the Wizards tonight to break that statistical tie. On Saturday, they'll travel to New Jersey to play the Nets.
- After the Wizards play the Hornets, they'll travel to Atlanta to play the Hawks on Friday and to Memphis on Sunday to play the Grizzlies.
