Rickshaw 2 Day Promo and Historic NBA Games On This Day

Not much going on about my ebooks since Wednesday, except that today and tomorrow, my ebook Rickshaw, New Mexico is free for the Kindle. So let's have some fun.

Today in 2005, at the end of the 3rd quarter, the 38-23 Detroit Pistons led the 20-42 Utah Jazz 58-50. Then the bottom fell out for both teams. Utah and Detroit went on a quarter long scoring drought. In fact, for the fist 5:49, no one scored at all, missing a combined total of 17 shots. Utah scored 12 points, but it wasn't enough to beat the Pistons, who scored only 6 points the entire quarter. Andrei Kirilenko led all scorers with 27 points. Rip Hamilton led the Pistons with 15.

Today in 1995, the 39-23 Charlotte Hornets took an 87-72 lead over the 17-44 Washington Bullets (now Wizards) into the 4th quarter and...collapsed. Washington scored 34 in the 4th and beat the Hornets 106-103. Alonzo Mourning led all scorers with 32. Juwan Howard led the Bullets in scoring with 18 points.

Today in 1955, after trailing the 43-29 Syracuse Nationals 60-56 at the beginning of the 4th quarter, the Milwaukee Hawks went on to edge the Nationals 77-76. Bob Petit led all scorers with 17. Paul Seymour and Dolph Schayes led Syracuse with 15. The Nationals went on to win the NBA Championship.

So who were the Syracuse Nationals? They started in the 1949-50 season and in the fall of 1963, they moved and became the team known today as the Philadelphia 76ers.

Again, my ebook Rickshaw, New Mexico is free for the Kindle.today and tomorrow.

George Foster, a down and out Las Vegas private investigator in 2011, took a routine late night stakeout assignment that changed his life forever. Things went terribly wrong when an affair turned into a double murder, with George as the number one suspect.

Once at home, George got drunk, passed out, and woke up in a jail cell...

...in 1886.

Somehow, George went from present day Las Vegas, Nevada to a one-street town named Rickshaw in the New Mexico Territory, a place with problems of its own. With no idea how he got there, George must adapt, survive, and find his way home.

Have a great weekend!!!
