Today in 1990 - The 1990 DCI Finals

Today in 1990, the Cadets of Bergen County won their fifth Drum Corps International World Championship at Rich Stadium in Buffalo, New York.

Notables

• The 1982 DCI Class A Champion Dutch Boy made its first appearance in Finals.
• The Cadets of Bergen County (was the Garfield Cadets and now called The Cadets) completed a nine year streak of placing in the top three.  They would fall to sixth in 1991 and place in the top five every year since.
• The Spirit of Atlanta made Finals once again after placing 14^th in 1989.  It was their last appearance in DCI Finals until 2002.
